MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS February 2 1 , 1 9 4 1 The February meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10 o'clock a.m. on Friday, February 21, 1941. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Pogue, Mr. Adams, Mr. Cleary, Mr. Davis, Mr. Jensen, Mr. Mayer. Mr. Park Livingston, member-elect, was present during the day. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Professor Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Judge Sveinbjorn Johnson, University Counsel, and Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary. Director C. S. Havens of the Physical Plant Department was present during part of the day. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of January 22, 1941, and also, for record, the minutes of a meeting of the Executive Committee on January 22, 1941. On motion of Mr. Jensen, the minutes were approved and received for record as printed on pages 151 to 178 above. 179
