Society of Women Engineers Oct. 19, 1969 Radio Telescope, Danville University of Illinois Student Section An informal picnic combined with a meeting was held this afternoon at the University of Illinois1s radio telescope south of Danville. Dr. and Mrs. J. Dickel, both professors Later of Radio Astronomy, gave us a tour of the facilities. they provided a picnic supper for all those present. Kay Whitlock and Carol Bauer reported on the Engineering Council meeting. The Council is investigating the possibility They are also considering of having a St. Pat's Ball. Engineering Open House and the SITE program. The members present were reminded that dues should be paid as soon as possible. Ruth Male, our present chairman, is going to call Liz -Soranyi, our immediate past chairman, to see if she can be our guest for the November meeting.
