The University of Illinois (Urbana) student section of the Society of Women Engineers met on April 12, 1969. On this day, we had a joint picnic with the University of Illinois Student Section of the American Soeiety of Mechanical Engineers at Kickapoo State Park in Danville, Illinois. Our guests were Dr. and Mrs. j . Dickel, both members of the astronomy department, who gave us a tour of the Universty's Radio Astronomy Site located in the Park.
