The Student ^ection of the Society of Women Engineers met on April 6, 1965 s a"t 7i 00 P.M. 141 Elictrical Engineering Building. Dr. Eoss W. Ashby spoke on cybernetics. The Secretary's minutes were read and approved as read. Engineering Council Eeport was called for. ICay Lester reported that oyer $400.00 profit was made by Council on St, Pat's Bali. Petitioning is open for Engineering Open House Chairman and St. Pat's Ball Chairman. The treasurer's report was read, we have $44.72 in the treasury. Engineering Open House Eeport was given. We sold 97 green hats at our exhibit. Copies of our phamphlets were given to the Deans to send out to girls entering engineering. Old BuMness; 1. The leehnograph subscription blanks that are still out sould " e turned in to 3p.ss Wilson's office by May 1. b 2. Kay Lester moved that we accept the proposed by- laws in total • revised form. Pat Sora Seconded the motion. The l)j~ laws were passed unaminously. New Business: 1. Officers to.,,„1pke office at next meeting were elected, . Pat Sora nominated Kay Lester for President and Lynn Granzow seconded the motion. Marsha vV'Hiiksen nominated Sandra Levey. Sandra declined the nomination,Pat Sora moved that the nominations be closed and kay Le ter be elected hj a white ballot. Marsha Williksen seconded fcbe o^ion.
