II. Welcome Officer Reports A. President- Karen Lindholm -The Technical Paper Contest run by National SWE was announced. Scholarships given by National were also discussed. -The party at Kam's was announced. -The plant trip to RR Donnelly will leave from Stratford House 312 E. Daniel at 12:30 Oct. 16th. Industrial Vice-President - Laurie Taylor -Technical Career .Night was discussed. At 6:30, there is a fashion show in the Ballroom. The companies will be set up in Illini Room A. Collegiate Vice-President - Sandy Skowron -The first EOB meeting will be Thurs. Oct. 23 at 6:30. -T-shirt forms are still available. The first order of T-shirts will be in the office next week. Conference Vice-President - Sara Pauls -The Automotive Workshop was held Oct. 4th. We will be hosting another one in the spring. Administrative Vice-President - Lisa Warda -Balloon sales are this Friday from 9-4 p.m. We are selling 17" heart shaped balloons for $1.75 in the south end of the Union. -The next Resume book meeting will be Oct. 23rd at 6 p.m. Publicity - Laura Schmidt -no report Engineering Council Rep - Julie Heim -Eng. Council is sponsoring a Haunted House for the Park District's Halloween celebration. See Julie if you want to help. -The last day for Engineering Speaker's Bureau signups is Friday Oct. 17th.
