Minutes for S.W.E. Meeting Seot. 22,1964 7:15 P.M. 278 Illini Union University of Illinois Student Sectiom The Student Section of the Society of ¥/omen Engineers met on Sept. 22, 1964, at 7:15 P.M. in room 278, Illini Union:. Those present: Mrs, Young Marsha Williksen Lynn G-ranzow Betty Hicks Gardner Pat Sora Robin Whitney Professor Wilson Eegina Kyker Kay Lester Sandra Levey Linda Nicosia Introductions were made. The Secretary's minutes were read and approved as read. The Vice-presidents report was called for: there was none. Old buisness: 1. Robin Whitney announced her resignation from thepposition of Secretary- treasurer. Lynn G-ranzow was elected to take over this office. 2. Linda Nicosia and Pat Sora declined nominations for the Engineering Council Representative. Kay Lester was then nominated and elected unanimously. 3- We discussed our plans for Dad's Day weekend. We all agreed that we wanted to have a luncheon and buy the meals for our dads, Kay Lester moved that we reserve a part of the Colonial Room instead of going through the Cafeteria. Good and Welfare: It was brought up that Technograph needs help. We then had a program drsigned to help entering freshmen. In the program we tried to give the freshmen the aid of our experiences.
