Karen L. - Introduction of Darla Root - our new treasurer. - filled out new registration forms - Our speaker cancelled on us so I'll be going to companies in the morning to see if we can get a speaker. - SWE Illio picture - can't be done at meeting, date for picture is Oct. 21 at 6:00 in 301 Eng. Hall. All members are invited. Officers - wear suits for the picture. - Ag Eng. invited us to a hayride & bonfire in early Nov. Let's do it! II.. Ruta - Resume deadline extended to Fri. Oct. 11. - Resume committee doing fine. - Tech night committee starts next week Julie - Balloon Sales Karen L. brings her curling iron; we sell balloons 10-4 on the Quad. Two regular members (& one officer) will sign up for each hour. Anyone have quarters & singles? There is an outlet by the stone railing on the Quad. III. IV. Denise - Sent out letters to interested people. The letters contained office hours, officer names, and a calendar of events. - Pub. committee is filled. V. Karen W. - EOH starts next week. T-shirts are in, We will be selling them again this month. Also, we'll be making new display for case downstairs. VI. Lisa W. - Congrats on a great newsletter. Some will be given out at the meeting. Some will be sent to other SWE Chapters. Will be.looking into the 'box' situation. Kim - No report VII.
