The right-of-way easement shall be over the following-described property: Situated in the State of Illinois, the County of Champaign, and consisting of the West Thirty-three (33) feet of the south Six Hundred (600) feet of the Southwest Quarter (SW M) of Section Thirty (30), Township Nineteen (19) North, Range Nine (9) East of the Third Principal Meridian. O n motion of Mr. Johnston, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote: Aye, M r . Clement, Mr. Johnston, M r . Page, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Swain, M r s . Watkins, M r . RENEWAL OF LEASE FOR SPACE AT 6 0 6 ' / J EAST GREEN STREET, CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS

(13) The University of Illinois Foundation on July 9, 1958, entered into an agreement with Bailey and Himes, Inc., Champaign, for the rental of 2,400 square feet of space on the second floor at 606^ East Green Street, Champaign, Illinois, for a five-year period commencing September 1, 1958. The space is used by the College of Journalism and Communications for part of its Television-Motion Pictures operations. The Foundation has subleased the space to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for biennial periods on the same terms and conditions as outlined in the lease between the Foundation and Bailey and Himes, Inc. In negotiations for renewal of the lease for an additional five-year period, the owner has stated that due to increased costs, a rental rate increase of $192 per year would be necessary. The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend that the University of Illinois Foundation be requested to renew the lease at the increased rental rate and that the Secretary of the Board and the Comptroller be authorized to execute a sublease agreement with the University of Illinois Foundation at the increased rental rate. I concur. On motion of M r s . Watkins, this recommendation was approved, and authority was given as requested.

RENEWAL OF LEASE FOR SPACE AT 61 1-13 EAST GREEN STREET, CHAMPAIGN. ILLINOIS

(14) The University of Illinois Foundation on July 9, 1958, entered into an agreement with Tom Merlo for the rental of 3,200 square feet of space on the second floor at 611-13 East Green Street, Champaign, Illinois, for a five-year period commencing September 1, 1958. The space is used by the Visual Aids Section of the Division of University Extension. The Foundation subsequently subleased the space to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for biennial periods on the same terms and conditions as outlined in the lease between the Foundation and Mr. Merlo. In negotiations for renewal of the lease for an additional five-year period, the owner has stated that due to increased costs, a rental rate increase of $144.00 per year would be necessary. The Board of the University of Illinois Foundation has agreed to the increased rental subject to approval by the Board of Trustees. The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend that the Secretary of the Board and the Vice-President and Comptroller be authorized to execute a sublease agreement with the University of Illinois Foundation at the increased rental rate. I concur. On motion of Mrs. Watkins, this recommendation was approved, and authority was given as requested.
