MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS May 2 0 , 1 9 6 4 The May meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the Illini Union South, Urbana, Illinois, on Wednesday, May 20, 1964, beginning at 8:00 p.m. The following members of the Board were present: Mr. Howard W. Clement, Mr. Irving Dilliard, Mr. Earl M. Hughes, Mr. Theodore A. Jones, Mr. Harold Pogue, Mr. Timothy W. Swain, Mrs. Frances B. Watkins. Mr. Wayne A. Johnston, Governor Otto Kerner, Mr. Ray Page, and Mr. Kenney E. Williamson were absent. Also present were President David D. Henry, Executive VicePresident and Provost Lyle H. Lanier, Vice-President Norman A. Parker and Dean Glenn Terrell, Chicago Undergraduate Division, Vice-President Joseph S. Begando, University of Illinois at the Medical Center, Chicago, Director C. S.
