BARTLE, Associate Professor of Mathematics, first semester, full pay; for research at the University of California, Berkeley, and to renew contact with research mathematicians there. U.JVID G. BOURGIN, Professor of Mathematics, second semester, one-half pay; to pursue research on fixed point theory and mappings and to complete a monograph on this subject. DONALD L.
