University's Research and Educational Hospitals and the settlement which has been reached between the partnership known as Crouch-Walker Company and Patrick Warren Construction Company, subject to the University doing what that settlement contemplates be done by it in connection with that settlement, of one of those claims. A copy of this report is being filed with the Secretary af the Board for record. For the reasons set forth in the joint report, the Director of the Physical Plant, the Legal Counsel, and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend that authority be granted for increasing the amount of the University's contract with Warren by $5,052.34 on account of the extras included in Crouch-Walker's claim for the balance due it under its contract with Warren, and for the payment by the University to Crouch-Walker of the sum of $41,209.39 in return for a credit allowed the University by Warren in that amount upon the contract between the University and Warren, subject, however, to release by the Governor of sufficient fuods from the appropriation to enable the University to so pay that sum to Crouch-Walker, and all in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the attached report, I concur. O n motion of Mr. Johnston, this change in the contract was authorized by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, M r . Harewood, Mr. H u g h e s , Mr. Johnston, M r . Pogue, Mr. Swain, M r s . W a t k i n s , Mr. Wilkins, Mr. Williamson; no, none; absent, Mr. Herrick, M r . Kerner.
