(2) The following new appointments to the faculty of the rank of Assistant Professor and above, and involving tenure, have been approved since the previous meeting of the Board of Trustees, 1 CHESTEB COGGESHALL, Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, beginning ' January 1, 1961, without salary (DY). 2 ROBERT HERING, Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, for seven months from February 1, 1961, at a salary of $6,769 (G). 3 RICHARD LICATA, Assistant Professor of Anatomy, for one year from. January ' l, 1961, without salary (FY). 4, PAUL LOTTES, Visiting Professor of Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering, for four and one-half months from February 1, 1961, at a salary of $3,000 (E40). 5 WILLIAM PERKINS, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering, beginning ' February 1, 1961, at an annual salary of $7,800 ( D ) . 6. VICTOR STEPHEN, Assistant Extension Editor, with rank of Assistant Professor, in Agriculture Administration Extension, beginning January 16, 1961, at an annual salary of $10,500 (DY). 7 JOSEPH S. VANDEMARK, Associate Professor of Horticulture, beginning December 1, I960, at an annual salary of $10,000 (C and E) (DY). g, JERHOLD VOSS, Assistant Professor of City Planning, in the Department of City Planning and Landscape Architecture, beginning September 1, 1961, at an annual salary of $7,000 (B). Appointments to Monacademic Staff The Director of Nonacaderoic Personnel reports the following appointments to supervisory positions of npper-level responsibility. 1. JAMES MICHAEL BOWEN, Systems and Procedures Analyst, Statistical Service Unit, beginning November 14, 1960, at an annual salary of $7,200. 2. HARRY C. GERSBAUGH, Laboratory Program Administrative Assistant, Department of Physics, beginning December 1, I960, at an annual salary of $7,200. On motion of Mr. Hughes, these appointments were confirmed.
