Tenure Symbols (a number following indicates percentage of time) A — Indefinite tenure, payable in twelve monthly installments. B — Two years from September, 1961, payable in twelve installments annually (with changes effective September, 1962), D — O n e year, payable in twelve installments from September 1, 1962. E — The academic year 1962-63, payable during nine months from September 16. F — O n e year from effective date indicated (other than September 1). G —-For the period indicated (less than one year and not on " Y " status). Y — Indicates that services are required throughout the year, except for allowable vacation, without additional compensation. N —-In accordance with Civil Service regulations, effective July 1, 1962, with payments on a monthly basis. NS — Same as N, except work week is five and one-half days.
