852 BOARD OF TRUSTEES Presentation of Statuettes Mr. Jones, on behalf of the Trustees, presented miniatures of Lorado Taft's Alma Mater statue to former Trustees Mrs. Frances B. Watkins and Mr. Irving Dilliard in recognition of their contributions to the Board and to the University. Trustee Emeritus Awards President Swain conferred the Trustee Emeritus Award upon Mrs. Watkins and Mr. Dilliard. This award, adopted by the Board on March 17, 1962, is conferred upon any Trustee who has retired from the Board after having served a full term, and who wishes to accept such a designation.
