REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS BY THE PRESIDENT OF T H E BOARD ELECTION TO T H E BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF T H E UNIVERSITIES RETIREMENT SYSTEM President Johnston announced that M r . Jones had asked to be released from his service as a representative of T h e Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois on the Board of Trustees of the Universities Retirement System of Illinois. On motion of M r . Hughes, M r . Pogue was unanimously elected as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Universities Retirement System of Illinois. T h e other representatives are M r . Grimes a n d Mr. Hughes. F U T U R E BOARD MEETINGS President Johnston announced that the next three meetings of the Board will be held: J u n e 20, 1967, Urbana, July 26, 1967, Urbana, and September 20, 1967, Chicago. BUSINESS PRESENTED BY T H E PRESIDENT OF T H E UNIVERSITY AWARD OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT CERTIFICATES (1) The Committee on Accountancy recommends that the certificate of Certified Public Accountant be awarded, under Section 5 of the Illinois Accountancy Act of 1943, as amended, to the following candidates who have presented evidence that they are holders of valid and unrevoked Certified Public Accountant certificates obtained by passing a standard written examination in another state or territory of the United States and who qualify in all other respects under this provision of the Names JOHN ALFRED BURKHARDT CARL JAY CARLIE JOSEPH HADLEY EVANS BERNARD STANLEY MOUST K . This recommendation is supplementary to the applications recommended to the Board of Trustees on March 14, 1967.
