residuary estate, including title to 37.9 acres of land in Manatee County, Florida. T h e University has now received an offer to purchase this property on behalf of Mr. Phillip Salvatori. T h e purchase price would be $60,000 payable as follows: $1,500 held as binder; a balance of $18,500 due within thirty days of signing a contract; the balance of $40,000 payable in five equal annual installments with interest at the rate of 6 per cent per annum to be secured by a first mortgage containing a provision for a partial release (eastern half of the property) from the mortgage when $10,000 of principal has been paid. T h e 37.9 acres was originally appraised and inventoried at $62,500 or $1,650 per acre, but the offer of $60,000 on the terms set out above represents the best offer to date. The Vice-President and Comptroller recommends that sale of the property be approved and that he be authorized to enter into and execute a contract on the terms described for the sale of the 37.9 acres.
