ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A HANGAR AT WILLARD AIRPORT (17) Because of limited hangar facilities, four University aircraft, two of the Twin Beach aircraft and both of the DC-3 aircraft, continue to be exposed to the weather at the University of Illinois-Willard Airport. Therefore, it is proposed that a new hangar of approximately 140 feet by 140 feet be constructed at an estimated cost of $150,000. Provision of the new facility will result in elimination of weather damage, lower depreciation costs, lower inspection costs, and better service. It is recommended that this facility be constructed out of reserves at the Airport, with the funds being replaced by future earnings from the Airport operations.

On motion of Mr. Swain, this recommendation was approved.
