332 BOARD O F T R U S T E E S [March 19 PRESIDENT'S REPORT President Henry presented a report on selected topics of current interest, copies of which were distributed at the meeting, and a copy was filed with the Secretary of the Board. BUDGET FOR 19 6 9 SUMMER QUARTER AND FACULTY APPOINTMENTS. MEDICAL CENTER CAMPUS (1) Submitted herewith are the budget and appointments to the faculty for the 1969 Summer Quarter at the Medical Center from June 23 through September 6, 1969. The total budget is for salaries in the amount of $20,746. T h e salaries recommended are computed on the basis of one-third of the salary of the academic year for a full quarter of service, with proportionate amounts for shorter periods or for part-time service. I recommend that these appointments to the summer quarter staff at the Medical Center be approved as submitted, and that the President of the University be authorized to accept resignations and make such changes and adjustments and additional appointments as are necessary in accordance with the needs of the University within the allocations of funds indicated. O n motion of M r .
