Appointments which carry academic rank and title indicative of departmental association of persons who do not already have departmental association shall be made only after concurrence of the department concerned, The remainder of the suggested amendments to Section 18 as well as the suggested amendments to Sections 16, 17; 25(e), (f), and ( g ) ; and 20(c) remain as they appear in the statement which accompanied the January 17, 1968, Board item, minutes pages 885-887. I recommend the final approval of the amendments as revised.
