MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS November 19, 1 9 7 1 The November meeting of The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at Allerton House in Allerton Park, Monticello, Illinois, on Friday, November 19, 1971, beginning at 9:30 a.m. President Earl M. Hughes called the meeting to order and asked the Secretary to call the roll. The following members of the Board were present: Mr. William D. Forsyth, Jr., Mr. Ralph C. Hahn, Mr. George W. Howard III, Mr. Earl M. Hughes, Mr. Earl Langdon Neal, Mr. Roger B. Pogue, Mr. Timothy W. Swain. Dr. Michael J. Bakalis, Mr. Donald R. Grimes, Governor Richard B. Ogilvie, and Mr. Russell W. Steger were absent. Also present were President John E. Corbally Jr.; Executive Vice President and Provost Lyle H. Lanier; Chancellor J. W. Peltason. Qrbana-Champaign campus; Chancellor Joseph S. Begando, Medical Center campus; Chancellor Warren B. Cheston, Chicago Circle campus; Dr. Eldon Johnson, Vice President; Mr. Norman A. Parker, Vice President for Public Service; Mr. Vernon L. Kretschmer, Associate Director of Physical Plant Planning and Construction; Mr. C. E. Flynn, Assistant to the President and University Director of Public Information; Mr. James J.
