FUTURE MEETINGS

Mr. H u g h e s announced the schedule for the next three meetings of the Board: November 19, 1971, Allerton House, Allerton P a r k ; December 15, 1971, Medical C e n t e r ; J a n u a r y 19, 1972, Chicago Circle. RECESS AND EXECUTIVE SESSION The meeting was recessed and the President of the Board stated that an executive session had been requested for the consideration of recommendations relating to pending litigation and property acquisition. Mr. Steger was not present when the executive session convened, but joined the session later. All other members and officers of the Board, and officers of the University were present as reported at the beginning of these minutes.

(25) The Board of Trustees of the Chicago Foundlings Home has indicated that it intends to sell the land and building now used by the Home adjacent to the Medical Center campus as soon as possible. If the University were to acquire this property, it would provide space immediately for the new School of Public
