SECRETARY'S REPORT The Secretary presented for record appointments to the faculty and changes of status made by the President; resignations; and leaves of absence. A copy of the report is filed with the Secretary. ELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVE TO THE STATE UNIVERSITIES RETIREMENT SYSTEM President Hughes reported that Mr. Neal had asked to be relieved of this assignment and presented in nomination the name of Mr, Howard to serve with the President of the Board of Trustees and with Mr. Swain on the Retirement Board. Hahn, Howard, and Forsyth reviewed in some detail the recent AGB meeting which they had attended, summarizing the central points of discussion.
