The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by the President of the University.

BECKERS, MARY C , Assistant Dietitian in Special Diets, in the Research and Educational Hospitals, for seven months beginning February 1, 1944, subject to University Civil Service rules, at a salary at t h e rate of one thousand six hundred twenty dollars ($1620) a y e a r ; for her convenience she will also be furnished room and board, valued at three hundred eighty-four dollars ($384) a year, while on duty (this supersedes her previous appointment). (March 2, 1944) Cox, DOROTHY, Assistant Clerk-Stenographer in the Department of Animal Husbandry, in the Agricultural Experiment Station, on one-half time, for five months beginning April 1, 1944, subject to University Civil Service rules, at a salary at the rate of fifty dollars ($50) a month, in addition to forty-five dollars ($45) a month paid by the United States Department of Agriculture, for which the University assumes no responsibility. DAVIS, THEODORE L I N K , District Supervisor of Emergency F a r m Labor, in
