M a r c h i , 1942, to F e b r u a r y 28, 1943, presented a recommendation that: 1. This report be approved. 2. T h e sum of $2,000 in the operating account, which has a cash balance of $5,404.32, be transferred to t h e Student Loan Fund. This will leave a balance of $3,404.32, plus the value of saleable crops and livestock, amounting to $4,317.50, which will provide an ample reserve for operating expenses and improvements needed at this time.

On motion of Dr. Meyer, these recommendations were approved and adopted.

ALLEN, CHARLES M., Principal of the University H i g h School, for one year beginning September 1, 1943, at a salary of four thousand five hundred dollars ($4500). (July 27, 1943) 1

ALLEN, ROBERT MARION, to give instruction in Physical Education for Men,

in the Summer Semester of 1943, for eight weeks beginning August 9, 1943, at a salary of three hundred thirty-seven dollars fifty cents ($337.50) for the period. (August 6, 1943)

A M E S , ALFRED CAMPBELL, to give instruction in English and Mathematics, in

the Summer Semester of 1943, for sixteen weeks beginning June 14, 1043, at a salary of four hundred seventy-five dollars ($475) for the period. (August 18, 1943)

ANGUS, W I N F I E L D SCOTT, to give instruction in Physical Education for Men,

in the Summer Semester of 1943, beginning July 1, 1943, and continuing through October 2, 1943, at a salary of seven hundred fifty dollars ($750) for the period. (July 26, 1943)

ARNETT, H E N R Y DILGARDT, to give instruction in Physics, in the Summer

Semester of 1043, beginning July I, 1943, and continuing through September 30, 1943, at a salary of four hundred sixty-two dollars ($462) for the period (this supersedes his previous appointment). (July 26, 1943)

ARON, ALBERT W I L L I A M , to give instruction in German, in the Summer

Semester of 1943, for sixteen weeks beginning June 14, 1043, or for such portion of that time as his services may be required, with a salary at t h e rate of one thousand three hundred fifty dollars ($1350) for the period (this supersedes his previous appointment). (August 5, 1043) ARON, WALTER, to give instruction in Physics, on three-fourths time, in the Summer Semester of 1943, for three months beginning July 1, 1943, at a salary of three hundred forty-six dollars fifty cents ($346.50) for the period.
