The Secretary presented also for record the following list of appointments made by the President of the University.

ANDREWS, CLIFFORD MAHTIN, Special Research Assistant Professor of

Ceramic Engineering, in the Engineering Experiment Station, beginning August 1, 1943, and continuing through July 31, 1944, at a salary of four thousand dollars ($4000). (July 21, 1943)' BOTTENFIELD, E. O., Cooperating Teacher in the College of Education, beginning June 14, 1943, and continuing through August 6, 1943, at a compensation of twenty-five dollars ($25). (July 26, 1943) CHICKRIS, M R S . CLEO, Cashier in the Bursar's Division of the Business Office, beginning June 16, 1943, and continuing through August 31, 1943, subject to University Civil Service rules, at a salary at the rate of one hundred twenty dollars ($120) a month (this supersedes h e r previous appointment). (June 26, 1943)

DANNER, MAURICE JUSTON, Assistant in F a r m Management, in the Depart-

ment of Agricultural Economics, in the Agricultural Experiment Station, on one-half time, for two months beginning July I, 1943, at a salary at the rate of seventy-five dollars -($75) a month (this supersedes his previous appointment). (June 21, 1943)

DAVIS, JAMES EDGAR, I n s t r u c t o r in Mathematics, in the College of Pharmacy,

beginning July 1, 1943, and continuing through August 31, 1943, at a salary at the rate of two hundred twenty dollars ($220) a month. (June 21, 1943)

DOEEERMAN, MARVIN ROBERT, T O give instruction in Architecture, on three-

fourths time, in the Summer Session of 1943, for eight weeks beginning June 14, 1943, or for such portion of that time as his services may be required, with a salary at the rate of three hundred dollars ($300) for the period. (July 21, 1943)

GASSMANN, M R S . M A R T H E LOYSON, Assistant in Psychiatry, in the College

of Medicine, for one year beginning July 1, 1943, without salary. (June 24, 1943) GLENN, SIDNEY E., T O give instruction in English, on one-half time, in the Summer Semester of 1943, for sixteen weeks beginning J u n e 14, 1943, or for such portion of that time as his services may be required, with a salary at the rate of five hundred sixty-two dollars fifty cents ($562.50) for the period (this supersedes his previous appointment). fourths time, in the Summer Semester of 1943, for eight weeks beginning August 9, 1943, or for such portion of that time as his services may be required, with a salary at the rate of three hundred seventy-five dollars ($375) for the period. (July 21, 1943) KOREN, JOSEPH ANTON, Graduate Assistant in Pharmacy, beginning July 1, 1943> and continuing through August 31, 1943, at a salary at the rate of fiftyfive dollars ($55) a month.
