BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPOINTMENTS MADE BY THE PRESIDENT

The Secretary presented also for record the following list of appointments made by the President of the University.

ARMSTRONG, M. PARALEE, Junior Clerk-Stenographer in the Graduate School, for four months beginning May I, 1943, subject to University Civil Service rules, at a salary at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) a month (this supersedes her previous appointment). (May 8, 1943) 1 BAYLOB, M R S . MARTHA BARNES, Special Research Assistant in Chemistry, on three-fourths time, for one year beginning July 1, 1943, at a salary of one thousand eight hundred dollars ($1800). (May 13, 1943) BITTING, BARBARA, Junior Library Assistant in Catalog Department of the Library, for four months beginning May 1, 1943, subject to University Civil Service rules, at a salary at the rate of one thousand six hundred dollars ($1600) a year. (May 6, 1943) BURR, M R S . DOROTHY R., Assistant Clerk-Stenographer in the Division of University Extension, and in the Summer Session, for three months beginning June I, 1943, subject to University Civil Service rules, at a salary at the rate of ninety-five dollars ($95) a month.
