SEVENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

O n motion of M r . Fornof, the Secretary was instructed to note in the minutes and to communicate to all persons concerned an expression of appreciation of the Board for the excellent work done by all who had part in the organization and execution of the plans for the celebration of the Seventy-Fifth Anniversary of the opening of the University, including the central committee in charge, the sub-committees, the musicians, the speakers, and the Director of Public Information for his success in publicizing the event in the press and on the radio.

T h e Secretary presented also for record the following list of appointments made by the President of the University. ADAMS, CLARK EDWARD, Assistant in Chemistry, on one-half time, beginning March 9, 1943, and continuing through June 30, 1943, at a salary at the rate of sixty dollars ($60) a month. (March 17, 1943)1

AMES, ALFRED CAMPBELL, Instructor in English, beginning March 1, 1943,

and continuing through June 30, 1943, at a salary at the rate of one hundred ninety dollars ($190) a month (this supersedes his previous appointment). (February 25, 1943) ANDERSON, ELIZABETH, Assistant in Zoology on three-fourths time, beginning February 8, 1943, and continuing through June 30, 1943, at a salary at the rate of ninety dollars ($90) a month (this supersedes her previous appointment) (February 25, 1943)
