The Board of Trustees on May 16, 1942 (Minutes, page 889), allocated the sum of $190,200 for building changes, equipment, and installations necessary to develop a program of research and education in the influence of atmospheric environment on humans, including problems relating to aviation, submarine, and military medicine, and $15,000 of this was released for architectural and engineering studies. T h e Director of the Physical Plant Department recommended the following reallocation of funds from the State appropriation of $254,000 for remodeling of the Research and Educational Hospitals: A.
