President Henry introduced Professor H. O. Halvorson, Professor of Microbiology and Head of the Department, and recently appointed Director of the new School of Life Sciences, who addressed the Board on educational and research programs of the departments comprising the School of Life Sciences. At the conclusion of his presentation, the meeting recessed for an inspection of Burrill Hall and for luncheon.

ADDRESS BY DEAN WILLIAM L. EVER1TT

Following luncheon, President Henry introduced Dean William L. Everitt of the College of Engineering who addressed the Board on the Ford Foundation grant for teacher training in engineering. On motion of Mrs. Watkins, the Board adjourned.
