CONTRACT FOR HYDROGEN LIQUEFIER BUILDING FOR PHYSICS RESEARCH LABORATORY (15) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend award of a contract for $41,300 to Rigid Frame Structures, Inc., Champaign, for the construction of a metal building for housing hydrogen liquefying equipment and storage of liquid hydrogen to be built in the area south of the Physics Research Laboratory. Funds are available in assignments made to the Department of Physics from indirect costs recovered from research contracts, and from other sources. I concur. On motion of Mr. Clement, this contract was authorized by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, M r . Harewood, Mr. Herrick, Mr. Hughes, Mr. Johnston, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Swain, M r s . Watkins, Mr. Wilkins, Mr. Williamson; no, none; absent, M r . Stratton. CONTRACT FOR REROOFING OF TEMPORARY HOUSING IN STADIUM TERRACE (16) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend award of a contract for $14,593 to Hitchins Roofing Company, Urbana, the lowest bidder, for reroofing of the temporary housing buildings in Stadium Terrace. Funds are available in Housing Division reserves for maintenance of temporary housing units. I concur. On motion of Mr. Swain, this contract was authorized by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Clement, Mr. Harewood, Mr. Herrick, Mr. Hughes, M r . Johnston, Mr. Pogue, M r . Swain, M r s . CONTRACT FOR REROOFING OF NATURAL HISTORY BUILDING (17) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend award of a contract for $6,474 to Petry Roofing and Sheet Metal Company, Champaign, the lowest bidder, for reroofing of the Natural History Building. Funds are available in the Physical Plant Department maintenance budget. I concur. On motion of M r . CONTRACT FOR LANDSCAPING MEDICAL RESEARCH LABORATORY AREA (18) The Director of the Physical Plant and the Vice-President and Comptroller recommend award of a contract for $7,906.50 to Clauss Brothers, Inc., Chicago, the lowest bidder, for landscaping the Medical Research Laboratory area at the Chicago Professional Colleges. The work will consist of furnishing top soil, planting trees and shrubs, and seeding. Funds are available in the state appropriation for construction of the Medical Research Laboratory. 1 concur.
