C H A N G E IN POLICY O N PURCHASE O F MOTOR VEHICLES (26) It is the practice of the University to replace motor vehicles in the University's fleet after they have been driven three years, or 45,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The Vice-President and Comptroller reported that experiments with earlier trade-ins indicate that it may be more economical to replace motor vehicles annually, and in the purchases just authorized three of the passenger cars being purchased a r e to replace vehicles which have been in service for one year.
