ALLEN, VIRGINIA E., Assistant Stenographer in the Animal Hospital, in the College of Medicine, for seven months beginning February I, 1940, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of ninety dollars ($90) a month. (February 2, 1940) 1

BATES, MARGARET MAHY, Assistant Librarian in the Medical and Dental

Library, beginning February 1, 1940, and continuing through August 31, 1940, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of one thousand nine hundred dollars ($1,000) a year (this supersedes her previous appointment). ( J a n u a r y 30, 1940)
