Professional and Graduate Program Thirty semester hours, ten hours of which must be in supervised field work with approved agencies where the University maintains regular field work centers, entitle the student to a degree of Bachelor of Social Administration. A minimum of 480 clock hours is required in field work. An additional ten hours of class instruction, four of which may be for a required thesis, and a minimum of 480 clock hours more of supervised field work with a total of 8 units of graduate credit will entitle the student to a degree of Master of Social Administration. Graduates from the pre-professional curriculum will be eligible to enroll in the graduate curriculum, and transfer students may enroll on condition that they have 16 semester hours of credit in pre-professional social work courses.
