APPOINTMENTS MADE BY THE PRESIDENT

The Secretary presented also for record a list of appointments made by the President of the University.

Anderson, Harold Homer, to give instruction in Education, on one-half time, and to supervise the Nursery School, on one-half time, in the Summer Session of 1939, beginning June 19, 1939, and ending August 12, 1939, involving additional service not contemplated in his appointment to teach during the two semesters of the regular academic year, at an additional compensation of six hundred dollars ($600) for the session. (April 11, 1939)1 Bloomster, Alice Maurine, Teacher in the Demonstration School, in the Summer Session of 1939, beginning June 19, 1939, and ending August 12, 1939, at a cash compensation of four hundred dollars ($400) for the session. (March 16, 1939) Chapman, Max J., Instructor in Physical Education for Men, beginning April 1, 1939, and continuing through June 30, 1939, at a cash compensation a t the rate of two hundred thirty dollars ($230) a month (this supersedes his previous appointment). (April 4, 1939) Collier, G. Estelle, Stenographer in the Department of Horticulture, in the College of Agriculture, beginning April 1, 1939, and continuing through August 31, 1939, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation
