MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS December 17, 1 9 3 8 The December meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10 o'clock a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 1938. The following members were present: President Mayer, Mr. Adams, Mr. Cleary, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Moschel, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Professor Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Judge Sveinbjorn Johnson, University Counsel, and the Secretary. 167
