Head, Department of Textiles and Interior Design, Urbana

(14) The dean of the College of Agriculture has recommended to the chancellor at Urbana-Champaign the appointment of Marjorie E. Mead, presently professor of clothing extension and acting head of the Department of Textiles and Interior Design, as head of the department effective September 21, 1981, on a twelvemonth service basis at an annual salary of $37,640. Professor Mead will continue to hold the rank of professor on indefinite tenure. She has been acting head since August 21, 1980, succeeding acting head Saadia S. Mohamed. The nomination is made with the advice of a search committee,1 upon the
