within total income as it accrues: (a) to accept resignations; (b) to make such additional appointments as are necessary and to approve the issuance of notices of nonreappointments, subject to the provisions of the University of Illinois Statutes, General Rules Concerning University Organization and Procedure, and Policy and Rules—Nonacademic; and (c) to make such adjustments in items included in the budget as are needed, such adjustments to be covered in periodic reports to the Board of Trustees.

On motion of Mr. Howard, the budget was approved, and authority was given as recommended by the following vote: Aye, Mrs. Day, Dr. Donoghue, Mr. Forsyth, Mr. Hahn, Mr. Howard, Mr. Logan, Mr. Madden, Mrs. Shepherd, Mr. Stone; no, none; absent, Governor Thompson. (The student advisory vote was: Aye, Mr. Lamm, Mr. Pittman; no, none.)

Fiscal Year 1985 Capital Appropriations

(5) The 83rd General Assembly authorized and the governor approved $16,252,600 for capital projects at the University of Illinois for FY 1985. A total of $5,136,500 was appropriated to the Capital Development Board for regular capital projects. T h e projects and their respective funding sources are shown below.
