Contracts for Educational Services, College of Medicine

(31) T h e chancellor at the Medical Center has recommended that the University continue to contract for educational services on behalf of the College of Medicine in FY 1981. Such services provide assistance in the conduct of the medical education programs of the College of Medicine. It is proposed that contracts be executed between the University and the institutions and organizations listed below: I. Peoria School of Medicine Internal Medicine Group of Peoria, S.C. Peoria Radiology Associates Hansen-Seedorf Radiological Group, Ltd. T h e Medical and Surgical Clinic, S.C. T h e Medical Radiological Group Methodist Hospital of Central Illinois Peoria County Health Board Peoria-Tazewell Pathology Group, S.C. R.O.L. Clinic, S.C. Tremont Medical Clinic, S.C. St. Francis Hospital Medical Center Associated Anesthesiologists Central Illinois Internal Medicine Specialists, Ltd. Total I I . It is further recommended that the chancellor, with the concurrence of the comptroller, be granted authority to approve changes in the amounts for any of the organizations listed above, within the total shown, and to approve agreements with other organizations as needed within the grand total. Funds have been included in the appropriation bill of the General Assembly to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the University for FY 1981 and in a Federal Health Professions Capitation grant already received, and will be included in the Medical Center operating budget authorization requests for FY 1981 to be submitted to the Board of Trustees. Award of these contracts is subject to the availability of such funds. T h e vice president for academic affairs and the vice president for administration concur. I recommend approval.
