BOARD OF TRUSTEES

[September 28,

On motion of Mr. Barrett, the bid of Boyle, Flagg, and Seaman was accepted. On motion of Mrs. Freeman, an appropriation of $2,250, or so much thereof as may be necessary, was made from the General Reserve Fund to pay the premium, by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Barr, Mr. Barrett, Mrs. Freeman, Mr. Mayer, Dr. Meyer, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Williams; no, none; absent, Mr. Horner, Mr. Karraker, Mr. Wieland.

ADJUSTMENT IN SALARY OF DR. ERIC OLDBERG

(30) A report that the salary of Dr. Eric Oldberg, Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery, has been changed from $2,225 a year to $3,750 a year, beginning August 1, 1935, his status to be: Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery in the College of Medicine, on three-fourths time, and Acting Head of the Department of Surgery, beginning August I, 1935, and continuing until further notice, at a cash compensation of three thousand seven hundred fifty dollars ($3,750) a year.

On motion of Dr. Meyer, this action was confirmed.

T I M E OF OCTOBER MEETING

The date of the October meeting was fixed as Friday, October 25, I 935» at IO o'clock a.m., at the University, in Urbana.

REPORT OF CONTRACTS

The Secretary presented the following report of contracts executed by the President and the Secretary of the Board since the last report.

TREASURER'S REPORT

The Secretary presented also for record the report of the Treasurer as at June 30, 1935, accompanied by certificates of deposit from the First National Bank of Chicago showing the General Fund as $306,925.97 and the F.E.R.A. Fund as $6,008.30.
