MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS July 26, 1935 The July meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 9:30 a.m. (Chicago time) on Friday, July 26, 1935. When the Board convened, the following members were present: Mr. Barrett, Mrs. Freeman, Mr. Karraker, Dr. Meyer, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Pogue, Mr. Wieland. President Willard was present; also Mr. Morey and Mr. Janata. On motion of Mr. Barrett, Mr. Karraker was elected chairman, to preside until President Williams should arrive. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of June 15, 1935. On motion of Mr. Barrett, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 203 to 258 above. 259
