with authorized and directed to draw his warrants on the State Treasurer for the sums appropriated in sections 4 and 5 of this Act. Section 7. There is appropriated to the University of Illinois for support, salaries and wages, office expense, printing, operation, repair, equipment, and permanent improvements, until the expiration of the first fiscal quarter after the adjournment of the next General Assembly, the sum of one million eight hundred thousand dollars ($1,800,000) per annum payable from the University of Illinois revolving fund, not exceeding in amount the sum collected by the University and transmitted to the State treasurer and credited to the University of Illinois revolving fund as provided by law. The appropriations made in this section shall be subject to all the provisions, conditions, and limitations of an Act entitled, "An Act in relation to State finance," approved June 10, 1919, in force July 1, 1919. Section 8. Inasmuch as the State is passing through an economic and financial emergency and inflation of all prices is imminent with consequent uncertainty concerning the anticipated and actual costs of materials and equipment, there is hereby appropriated to the University of Illinois from the general revenue fund in the State treasury for the two years, beginning July I, 1933, and until the expiration of the first fiscal quarter after the adjournment of the next General Assembly, the sum of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for operation, repairs, equipment and minor improvements including special assessments, which amount shall be available for expenditure only after approval by the Governor. It is understood that this method is adopted solely because of the present economic and financial emergency. The appropriation made in this section is subject to the provisions of "An Act in relation to State finance," approved June 10, 1919, as amended.

A N ACT MAKING A N APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS FOR THE AGRICULTURAL EXPERIMENT STATION I N COOK COUNTY

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the GenAssembly: Section I. The sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the University of Illinois for the biennium ending June 30, 1935, for the purpose of constructing buildings and maintaining the Agricultural Experimental Station in Cook County. Section 2. This appropriation is subject to the provisions of "An Act in relation to State finance," approved June 10, 1919, as amended. eral
