MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS October 2 1 , 1932 The October meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10 o'clock a.m. on Friday, October 21, 1932. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Barrett, Mrs. Hopkins, Mr. Trees, Mr. Williams. President Chase was present; also the Comptroller, Professor Lloyd Morey. A recess was taken until 1 p.m. MEETING O F T H E EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 1932. Mr. Edward E. Barrett, Chairman, and Mrs. Marjorie R. Hopkins, a member of the Committee, were present; also Mr. Merle J. Trees and Mr. Walter W. Williams, members of the Board, and President Chase and Professor Morey. 127
