APPROPRIATION FOR COMMISSION O N MEDICAL. EDUCATION (2) The Dean of the College of Medicine recommends that the University make another contribution of $200 a year forfiveyears beginning with the year 1930-31 to the Commission on Medical Education of the Association of American Medical Colleges. This is a continuation of a similar contribution made each year from 1925 to 1930. I concur in this recommendation and recommend further that an appropriation of $200 be made from the Reserve and Contingent Fund of the College of Medicine for this year's contribution. If the project is approved, provision for future contributions will be made in the annual budgets of the College of Medicine. O n motion of D r . APPROPRIATION FOR SERVICES OF DIRECTOR OF FIREMEN'S SHORT COURSE

(3) A recommendation, on request of the Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering, that an appropriation of $100 be made from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for the payment of the honorarium of Professor C. E. Palmer, as Director of the Sixth Annual Short Course in Fire Prevention, Control, and Extinguishment, held at the University from June 17 to 20, 1930. O n motion of M r .
