CANCELLATION OF LEAVE FOR PROFESSOR EDNA E. WALLS

(3) A recommendation that the action -of the Board of Trustees at its meeting on April 20 granting Miss Edna E. Walls, Specialist and Assistant Professor in Child Development and Parent Education, a sabbatical leave of absence on one-half pay under the rules for one year beginning September 1, 1932, be rescinded because of the refusal of the United States Department of Agriculture Extension Service to concur in the arrangement. O n motion of M r . Trees, this r e c o m m e n d a t i o n w a s adopted.

LABORATORY FEES IN THE COLLEGE OF PHARMACY

(4) A recommendation that the following laboratory fees in the College of Pharmacy be authorized, effective in September, 1932: First Semester Pharmacy 23 $ 7 00 Chemistry 21 10 00 General Botany 23 6 00 Total,firstsemester $23 00 Second Semester Pharmaceutical Preparations 24. $ 7 00 Organic Chemistry 22 13 00 Physics 24. 5 00 Plant Histology 22 4 00 Total, second semester $29 00 Total for year $52 00 On motion of Mr. Barr, these fees were approved.

PLYM FELLOWSHIP APPOINTMENT

(5) A report that the Plym Fellowship Committee has appointed Charles T. Masterson, 1833 Alcoy Road, Cleveland, Ohio, of the Class of 1930, to the Nineteenth Plym Fellowship in Architecture, and Mr. Arthur Bassin, 307 South Wright Street, Champaign, Class of 1931, as an alternate in case Mr. Masterson cannot accept. This report w a s received for record.

RULES FOR PLYM FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIP IN ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING

(6) A report of a change in the regulations governing the Plym Foreign Scholarship in Architectural Engineering adopted by the Board of Trustees on M a y 17, 1924 (Minutes, page 480). A copy of the regulations as amended is herebyfiledwith the Secretary of the Board for record. "That a committee to be known as the Plym Scholarship Committee shall consist of such members of the staff of the Department of Architecture as may be required to administer the work, with the Head of the Department as an ex officio member." O n motion of M r . A r m s t r o n g , this change w a s approved.

KATE NEAL KINLEY MEMORIAL FELLOWSHIP REGULATIONS

(7) A report that the Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship Committee has been authorized to prepare an announcement and regulations to govern the award of the Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship. These regulations are in accordance with the conditions of the gift as published in the Minutes of the Board of Trustees of September 29, 1931 (Minutes, page 410). A copy of these regulations is filed with the Secretary of the Board for record. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, these rules were adopted.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING LOAN FUND

(8) O n October 13* 1928 (Minutes, page 45), the Board accepted the offer of the student Electrical Engineering Society to turn over the money it has made on the Electrical Shows for the establishment of a student loan fund under certain conditions.
