APPOINTMENTS MADE BY THE PRESIDENT T h e Secretary presented for record a list of appointments m a d e by the President of the University. Covey, Neva M., Graduate Stenographer in the Bureau of Educational Research, for six months beginning March I, 1932, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred five dollars ($105) a month. (February 19, 1932)1 English, W . J., Statistical Clerk in the Business Office, on seven-eighths time, for four months beginning February I, 1932, and on full time for three months beginning June I, 1932, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) a month. (February 15, 1932) Goggin, Edna Mae, Assistant in Romance Languages, on one-half time, for four months beginning March I, 1932, at a cash compensation at the rate of eighty dollars ($80) a month (this supersedes her previous appointment). (March 2, 1932) Hansen, Lydia E., Stenographer in the Department of Animal Husbandry, in the College of Agriculture, and in the Agricultural Experiment Station, for seven months beginning February I, 1932, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) a month. (February 10, 1932) Harris, Warren Skinner, Special Research Assistant in Mechanical Engineering, in the Engineering Experiment Station, in the College of Engineering, beginning February 1, 1932, and continuing until further notice, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) a month. (February 26, 1932) Murray, Warren G., Lecturer in the Department of Criminology, Social Hygiene, and Medical Jurisprudence, in the College of Medicine, for six months beginning March 1, 1932, without salary. (March 1, 1932) Nelson, Harlan Willis, Special Research Graduate Assistant in Chemical Engineering, in the Engineering Experiment Station, in the College of Engineering, beginning February 1, 1932, and continuing until June 15, 1932, at a cash compensation at the rate offiftydollars ($50) a month (this supersedes his previous appointment). (February 15, 1932) Peirce, D. D., Instructor in Chemistry, for five months beginning February 1, 1932, at a cash compensation at the rate of two hundred dollars ($200) a month.
