REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION The foregoing courses have been arranged for those who wish to prepare themselves for special work in physics and allied sciences. In addition to the subjects of the prescribed list, two general lines of work are offered under elective lists A and B, one of which must be taken with the list of prescribed subjects. The advanced theoretical work of the first of these lines is largely general mechanical physics; that of the second more especially chemical. The laboratory work follows the same lines. The additional studies necessary to complete the number of hours required for graduation may be elected from the various University courses, with the approval of the head of the department of physics.
