SOCIAL ADVANTAGES PHYSICAL CULTURE

A special gymnasium is set apart for the young women, and physical culture, under a competent instructor, is a part of the regularly accredited work of the University. Careful attention is given to the correction of physical defects, to the promotion of good health, and to the development of a graceful carriage. In connection with the physical exercise, a course of lectures is provided, devoted especially to the proper care of health and the treatment of the more common bodily ailments. SOCIAL ADVANTAGES Educational training in the conventionalities is provided for in a practical way by the numerous social gatherings offered especially for the young women of the University by the wives of members of the faculty and by the lady members of the same.
