SUGGESTED COURSES OF STUDY IN AGRICULTURE.

For the guidance of students in the selection of studies the following courses are offered. The first year's work, at least, should be taken as laid down in one of these courses, after which free selection may be made within the limits of the prescribed lists of required and elective subjects. Close correspondence exists for the first two years between these courses and those of the College of Science. The special professional subjects occur in the third and fourth years, or in the fourth alone. Course 1 is arranged with nearty equal amounts of time given to each of the sciences, and is adapted to students who do not wish to specialize in any one of these subjects. Courses 2 and 3 may be chosen by those who desire to give more attention to chemistry; course 4 by those who wish to make botanical studies a specialty; and course 5 by those who take a year's work in horticulture.
