Candidates for the College of Natural Science should be eighteen years of age, and must pass satisfactory examinations in the common school branches, and in the studies of the preliminary year. Their preparation should be especially good in the scientific studies of the preliminary year. Practice in the drawing of natural objects will greatly facilitate the student's progress. A knowledge of the Latin language is a good preparation for the mastery of the scientific terms which must be learned in the course.
