which to remove the large barn used by the Grounds Department, in which it keeps its horses and implements. The purchase of the Yeats property provides such a place. The expense of moving and putting the building in shape is estimated by the Supervising Architect at about $1600. At his request I recommend an appropriation of $1600 from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for moving this barn, putting in a foundation, making the necessary water and electrical connections and for the work to put the building in proper shape on its new site. STATEMENT SUBMITTED BY GREEN AND PALMER FOR SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH HESSEL LAND

(24) A statement from Green and Palmer covering services rendered by them in connection with the condemnation and acquisition of Hessel land. I recommend that an appropriation of $3,099.55 be made from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for this purpose. O n motion of D r . PURCHASE OF SHAFER LOT ON HARVEY STREET

(25) The Supervising Architect recommends the purchase of the Shafer lot on Harvey Street for the sum of $1,000 with the understanding that the lot be delivered to the University free of all encumbrances, including the realtor's commission. I recommend that this purchase be authorized and the sum of $1,000 be appropriated from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for this purpose. O n motion of M r . EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION TO THE DISPENSARY OF THE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE

(26) Dean Davis reports that on account of the increased work of the Dispensary i has been necessary to add the services of another nurse during June, July, and t August, which involves an addition of $300 to the Dispensary budget for those months. I recommend that $300 be appropriated from the Reserve and Contingent Fund to the Dispensary for salaries for June, July, and August.
